Flu Season Information
WomanSafeHealth has thimerosal-free (preservative-free ~ see link below to CDC for more information) injectable influenza vaccine (and have run out of intranasal vaccine). This year the flu vaccine contains protection against H1N1, so only one seasonal influenza vaccine is needed.
We also offer skin numbing cream and very small needles to increase comfort at no additional charge. Two doses are recommended for children ages 6 months - 8 years old, 4 weeks apart if the child was not vaccinated last year and only one dose if the child was vaccinated last year.
We also carry alternative and complimentary treatments for flu and colds ~ oscillococinum homeopathic remedy and Chinese HerbalTea Pills.

Although we do not bill or accept any type of health insurance, we are a Blue Cross/ Blue Shield “Out of Network" Provider, which may allow higher reimbursement.
